The Challenge
Quinn Groundworks was approached by a major house builder to manage the removal of illegally fly-tipped waste on land planned for residential development. The waste included a mix of trommel fines, shredded skip waste, hazardous waste and large volumes of soils, all which needed proper classification and careful handling to ensure compliant disposal.
The Solution

After an initial consultation and site visit SoilEx were instructed to conduct a thorough waste classification investigation to accurately identify the different waste streams on site, this allowed SoilEx to then provide a detailed proposal for the management and removal of the waste. By categorising and assessing the waste streams, we developed a tailored, cost-effective approach to removal, ensuring the quick and safe removal of all waste, which in turn ensured the project stayed on track and met all regulatory standards.
